well, my 98 c2s tip probably original muffler/exhaust boxes are on their way out and have started splitting , unsurprisingly being mild steel. had the chance of some used Tubi`s at a good price but they only fitted later models. so - what are my best options? obviously stainless, more power would be nice, as would a SLIGHT increase in volume at higher rpm, (not chav racket or mway drone) first research points to milltek/dansk/design tek, all around the £600 mark. advice please on which would be most suitable bearing in mind my above requirements, any suggestions considered. i await your considerable experience of noise levels etc. thanks

Most economical route is to source some second hand boxes from a later car and weld some bypass tubes in as big as you like. all for under £100 is feasable Your current boxes are Stainless steel by the way. 12 years on and just about failing is not bad value for money.
