Porsche club had a free vechical check at my local Porsche dealer tonight So as it was free I decided to drive over and see if the could find anything wrong with my 996 c4s cab, sureley they wouldn't find anything as it was only looked over a month ago ......by a specialist :?: So the car went on the ramps and 30 mins later they had found over £1200 worth of work :sad: 1- water pump has acs light leak, not wet but had a white powder round it they said it had leaked and this was the remains of the anti freeze? 2- Aircon radiator on the drivers side, their was a damp patch near the top? 3- exhaust bolts where corroded ----- that's a surprise 4- bulb gone All needed sorting But the best news of all is they are covered under warranty :thumbs: Apart from the bulb :?: so they took £1.22 of me [/i]

I had the same free check @ OPC,Byfleet. After commenting on how tidy the car looked the mechanic said there was about 3k of work to do. Though none of the work would of made the car look/drive any better! I guess nothing is free :dont know:
