Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Outcome without a verified action link

I just bought generic airbag resistors on Amazon and it worked perfectly.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I want to remove the passenger seat and put a small dog crate there for my dog. I’m guessing that I will get an airbag light. Can I remove that light with the Durametric once I put the seat back in.

POST 2Original post

I assume it would be like the steering wheel airbag where you need a resistor in the plug. Pretty easy to do on the steering wheel, probably even easier for the seat. I just bought generic airbag resistors on Amazon and it worked perfectly. I forget the Ohms, but I seem to recall it is either 1-2, or 1-2k, one or the other.
