Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I don't have a Durametric, but have used a couple diagnostic tools that have no problem resetting the airbag light.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I want to remove the passenger seat and put a small dog crate there for my dog. I’m guessing that I will get an airbag light. Can I remove that light with the Durametric once I put the seat back in.

POST 2Original post

I don't have a Durametric, but have used a couple diagnostic tools that have no problem resetting the airbag light. I expect that the Durametric being Porsche specific will not have a problem.

POST 4Original post

Just disconnect the starter battery and wait 30 minutes before you start your work and connect it afterwards. Also make shure that you don't have the key in the ignition lock while you disconnect or connect the starter battery. If you have memory seats, then first remove the 4 screws that hold the seat. And afterwards disconnect the starter battery. Also no key in the igntion lock. Then you can diconnect the seat wiring harness.
