Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Purchased a set of stainless steel lines for my 2008 Cayman but having trouble removing the originals. Have tried several applications of PB blaster while using flare wrenches but the lower rear just won't budge. Before I try a torch I want to at least find a source for the hard line that exits the caliper in case it gets ruined. I have searched lots of online parts houses but haven't been able to find the part number. Anyone have a source?

POST 2Original post

From my copy of the PET: Left rear line is 996.352.961.00 Right rear line is 996.352.962.00

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
