Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

What would be the best adhesive to re-install my mirror,..I have the heated mirror option if that even matters I was going to use Super glue but thought, maybe there is something better...Thank's ! Frank

POST 2Original post

A thin film of silicone sealant would hold up better to temperature differences. IMO

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ahh,..Good Idea..Glad I asked .Thank's !

POST 4Original post

I'd ask a dealer what they use.....and possibly a good body shop. See if they have a product they've had success with since they might have had to repair others in the past. In my area there are a few places that sell to body shops "professional" supplies, that could be another source for you. (materials not sold in big box hardware stores that is)

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Also a good Idea..I will give them a call today Thank's ! Frank

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Porsche body shop recommends a 3M epoxy that is a hot and cold bonder,..they also stated a 3M panel bond. But, they said your mirror will never ever come off..so if you get' a crack in it,you will be buying the assembly ,..! Thank's Guy's , 3M bonder is what I will be looking for ! Frank
