Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all. New to the forum and after some advice from those wiser in all things Porsche than I. Currently have a 2001 C2 Tip on 17" wheels. The car originally had 18" BBS Sport Classic II's on (removed before I bought the car) and I'm returning to these in the near future. I'll be sticking new rubber on the new rims and wanted to know which way to go; Pirelli, Conti, other? The car is a daily commuter driver and doesn't get unleashed properly too often so a good all rounder rather than out and out sports rubber would be preferred. Any advice welcome.

POST 4Original post

Hi Charliechan If you are interested then I'd be happy to help. Sport Classic II is a lovely design. I have a set of these fully refurbed and brand new N rated Pirelli Asimmetrico tyres fitted (225/40/18 and 265/35/18 ) and balanced so they are ready to fit to a 993 or 996. These were prepared to be displayed for the TIPEC show so they really are A1 and have never been fitted to a car. £1800 all in delivered to any 911uk member.

Chris is a great guy who offers a genuine helpful, reliable and professional service. If you don't take him up on the booted wheels, whenever you need yours refurbed, he is the guy to take the hassle out of the job. I've used his services twice and won't go anywhere else from now on.
