Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Cost is different from dealer to dealer! You can also just do the service yourself i.e. plugs filters and oil and then just have the dealer read fault codes or get a reader yourself for Palm pilot
Don I'm not sure what you mean by dealer stamping the book voiding warrenty? How does stamping the book void the warrenty?
Baumtools.com sells the software to read the fault codes "DTC" diagnostic fault codes and reset them along with resetting check engine light for your Palm or Visor
My only point (which I didn't say very well) was that by having o/t a certified Porsche dealer do the inspection and "stamp" the maintenance record book, the warranty may be void if a problem ensues...that's all. As I said, I didn't put it very well.
The warrenty does not require a Porsche mechanic to do the maintenance! Nor are you required to have your book stamped for "proof" that maintenance was performed. I have never had any of my vehicles serviced by anyone except myself unless a warrenty work waqs required. I have NEVER been asked to show ANY proof that normal maintenance/service was performed. These little dealer stamps in service books only mean that the dealer did your service.. MAYBE helps for resale NOTHING ELSE!

Dranon, you don't need the plugs changed. You need to change the pollen filter, too. It's under the shroud on the passenger side of the trunk. You need a torx screwdriver and just twist the thumbscrew. This shroud covers the filter, the strut tower mounts, and the strut brace. Best prices on Oil and Pollen filters are from Suncoast.
Yeah I know about the pollen filter... I didn't mean to give a comprehensive list but I'm happy to do that WITH instructions for anybody that wants to do it! I highly advise people to do it themselves.. kind of gets you in touch with your car AND very easy. BTW $700 is a BIG ripoff for this service!!!! Get a Palm or Visor and a fault code reader which will work for most all other cars BTW!!!
