Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

My 06 CS is just about to hit 30k miles, my brake pads are looking pretty low so im planning on replacing them, my rotors look fine, no cracks and still look like they got some good millage left on them... Is it fine to replace the pads and to leave the rotors for now? Also going to get some 15MM rear spacers for my stock 18" wheels, is that a good size? should i go larger or smaller Thanks once again!!!

POST 2Original post

The important thing with the rotors apart from the visual look is the thickness, and usinga caliper guage they should be checked. If they still have plenty of meat left on them then just repalce the pads. 15mm spacers are the norm for the Cayman and people generally pair them with 7mm fronts, however you can also go bigger i.e. 23mm, but it depends on what look you want. Personally I'd go with 15mm rear/7mm front. Even the OEM 5mm spacers change the look slightly, and there is no right or wrong, just what you want. Do some searches and you'll find pictures of different setups.
