Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Mike, I Dyno tested my 99 996 W/Fabspeed Exhaust and air box. Here are the numbers. Max Power = 258.5 Max Torque 222.6 at the wheel. Temp 60F. Johnny

POST 3Original post

The numbers seem right on. I just sold my 91 928GT which had 326hp at flywheel from factory. At dyno it put down 287hp. The 99 996 has 296hp at flywheel which would mean right on with your numbers at 258hp. You have mufflers and an airbox, I had(on the 928GT) mufflers and an airfilter. I now own a 99 996 and the difference in power is not huge. It was almost a month between driving the two, that may be a factor. Now if I could just get the car to stop understeering......
