Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T020439Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi I'm considering buying the long block out of this vehicle. Any info about it would be appreciated. Waiting on the salvage place to see what history they have. Status Porsche have it. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Whats the story with this one Scarlet...?? Has it been in an accident....?? Osh

POST 3Original post

The Cazana site is showing that registration as having covered 91k miles. A string of MOT passes down the years, apart from one or two failures for tyres and the odd item. Still showing that the vehicle has a current MOT. For a fee more information is available from their site. Someone else may be able to chip in with what you can expect to learn for your money - write off, recovered stolen, outstanding finance maybe :?:

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apologies , I should have given more information. I checked the MOT history and looks good. The dealer said it's covered 87k. It's from a front end write off. I have a photo showing the rear end untouched. Just wondered if someone out there owned it and could give some more history. My 996 failed some time ago and the dealer seems finally ready to buy another engine to repair it.
