Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm looking to buy a 996 Coupe MY2000 or newer. My only requirement is PSM and low mileage. I'm ready to purchase this week. If the car is priced in the mid 50's. I'm in the SF bay area. thanks!

POST 2Original post

I think you might be able to find one. It may take some time. My 2000 is a silver coupe. psm, aluminum guages,3 spoke steering wheel, red brake calipers, 18 inch turbo wheels, sport exhaust big tips, aluminum pedels, suede head liner, carbon fiber shifter and brake handle, aluminum door sills and efx engine protector skid plate. 11,500 miles. $60,000. I had to replace the rear tires because they were worn. Cost $750 including alignment. Small oil seal leak fixed under warrentee. My prepurchase check told me of the leak. Total cost would be $60,750. I believe I got a great price with all these options. Good luck in your search. The first one I had checked out was a 1999 with 25,000 miles on the clock. My mechanic said not to buy. To many problems, and my mechanic felt he abused the car. What ever your going to purchase, no matter how good the car looks, have it checked out by an repatable PORSCHE mechanic.
