Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You might try disconnecting the battery for 3 minutes and reconnecting to see if that helps get you going but the car needs to be scanned with a PST-2, the Factory tool.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T174436Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay, maybe that leak was transmission fluid, not oil?? This morning I'm about a mile from home and put it in reverse to back up as a tree is in the road that i need a better angle to get around... and the car wont go back in drive. At all. I got home today and was told a few hours later that it would engage but that there was "definitely a problem." Can't get the car seen at dealer in ATL until Wednesday. Anyone experienced this? Covered by warranty? Thanks, Mike

POST 2Original post

Sorry to ask the obvious but have you checked the transmission fluid level? If it is indeed low try topping it off until you can get to the dealer. Good luck, Ben

You might try disconnecting the battery for 3 minutes and reconnecting to see if that helps get you going but the car needs to be scanned with a PST-2, the Factory tool. If the Tip has an ECU fault, this is what they do. Most definitely, this will be covered by warranty.
