Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can one get throttle position data from durametric with just the ignition on. I want to be able to verify that the full range actuation is available and adjust stop(s) prior to ever running the car. Will this plan be messed up with the automatic TB calibration sequence? Yes I have made cable cam measurements. I am trying/planning to verify throttle pedal set up in this manner once I get there. Yes....at present I am not able to just try it...

POST 2Original post

On my 01 S I can get throttle position with ignition on, but its the e-gas electronic throttle. No idea about non egas models. Do you know about the throttle adaptation proceedure after resetting fault codes or diconnecting battery. Ignition on for 60 seconds without touching throttle, then 10 seconds off, then start the car.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
