Yeah I know there is a PCM 3.0 topic but I am asking about compatibility with the older 2.1 PCM using the Dension gateway 500.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Yeah I know there is a PCM 3.0 topic but I am asking about compatibility with the older 2.1 PCM using the Dension gateway 500. The reason I ask is because my wife's iPhone 3G is found almost instantly by the GW500 and works just fine. For the 3GS it takes a couple of minutes and sometimes it finds it and sometimes it doesn't. Then when it does, the phonebook will show the number of entries in each letter range, like A-C (35), but when you try to select it nothing happens you can't get to the phonebook entries. Anyone else having these issues? I have the latest software upgrade from Dension.

POST 2Original post

I've had my 3GS hooked up to my GW500 for a few weeks now (or however long it's been since the 3GS launched) and I haven't had any problems. I had similar problems with my original iPhone until I upgraded to the latest GW firmware, haven't had any issues since.
