A change of direction means, I'm probably going to keep the GT3 for a while, unless someone offers me 63.5k, which I'll include the RS wing & the Cup bumper, along with the standard parts.

Crimp, your car looked lovely for that price, I remember seeing it advertised when I was looking but had my heart set on a dark colour and not silver.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Tbh I didn't have a clue where to start, on price. The last 996.2 sold at Christmas in 2 weeks at 59.5k. I haven't seen another for sale since. I'm open to advice on the price it should be.
Well as yours is the only one for sale, you can ask what you like, if someone wants a 996.2 they can buy yours or not buy one i suppose.
To be fair when you look at the price of some of the air cooled stuff, some of which are s
t, your car looks good value.

Of course you can put it up for what you want. 911v put up (different from sold) a 47k mile car a couple of weeks ago for £55k.
Didn't see that one? Only saw the 70k miler up for £60k recently.

A very nice but 70k mile mk 1 also went at £60k recently?

It was a PH'er's car. Sold a few weeks back. Dark blue, Mk2 comfort I think. Can't be certain but must have sold for lowish 50s. Was on their website for a few weeks.
I have been following GT3 prices for a while and that was very fairly priced IMO.

Good Luck Neil.
Mine was a right bloody bargain at 37k!!!!!!!!
Comfort model with 52k miles, mind you I made 5k on it and had it less than a year.
That was a great buy! Too cheap IMO

Ah well hindsight and all that.
Needed to shift it mate quickly to buy a house, few personal problems at the time, mind you the dealer only sold it for 40k mind......
To me its worth all that and more, think these cars are very under rated and under valued compared to some "special" models from other manufacturers.
Its nice to see them getting toward the status they deserve.

996 GT cars are my fave kettles ever made, that includes the RS and the GT2
Looks like Europe feels the same way too but not RHD markets

Depending on domestic plans. Probably something under 10k, old Elise? And a 2 bed flat.

Yes, BTL. Hoping to nab my old mans rental, so he doesn't have to pay Capital Gains Tax.

I remember it well. Liaised with Tom on it as I was thinking about buying it but didn't in the end. Looked a great car and with the backup of 911v, a good price too.
If anyone has a good GT3 for sale, please PM me!

Crimp. A mate of mine has ended up with your gt3 via a dealer.
Not sure if this is good or bad news but it's a bit of a garage queen now.
At least it won't end up on its roof any time soon !
keep for now though you could ask him on 911uk
on a separate note, had an OPC email yesterday asking if mine was up for sale as they are desperate for GT's - as long as it can be returned back to OEM and that its had P or recognised Specialist History, theyd take it

For now! The wing mirrors and wing tips, are now silver, which looks great. A change of direction means, I'm probably going to keep the GT3 for a while, unless someone offers me 63.5k, which I'll include the RS wing & the Cup bumper, along with the standard parts.
Talking of values and potential sales, JZM rang me today, to see if I was still selling, in their opinion the 60k 996 GT3 isn't here yet, which is weird as Strasse had a 59.5k silver GT3 for sale at Christmas, that didn't hang around for long.

You mean they offered you £45k for it,
Joking aside I've got a lot of time for JZM, good folks but a business none the less, never expect a good bid from a trader.

Agree, they are a very professional outfit, and I would feel very comfortable dealing with them.
I have been offered 55k, and 2k for the wing & bumper.
I am luck enough to own a 05 low miler, and don't really care about the value as it aint for sale.Looking at the massive prices being asked for other, older,'special' 911s,surely these are one hell of a bargain?!? and an asset that's only going up?

I totally agree, when you see the prices bring asked of the 3.2!
When you think about the cost of some of the aircooled stuff, any GT3 is incredible value for money at the moment, i really don't see who buys a 993 turbo at £100+ grand when you can get a 997.2 GT3 for less money, you certainly cant be buying it to drive, as the GT3 is so much superior.
964 rs £120-£200k v 996 GT3 £60k for me thats just a no brainer, even a 996 GT3 RS at £120-£150 makes more sense.

Photo shoot from last night courtesy of Aron Vickers, great lad with the camera.
Has made the 996 look sexy from the front, genius!
So the camera does lie

Back up for sale now, Rallyman?
Looks fantastic now it's all back to silver.
Just spent the thick end of 1500, taxed, insurance and Tracker. I'll get it serviced next and redo the advert, is sells it sells, in the mean time, I'll enjoy it. The potential Buy to Let fell through anyway, so no hurry. It seems my price was about right, with the standard wing and PU included.

Perfect attitude! Does look good. Might as well enjoy it!
