it practically did not work, was very glitchy, i tried for an hour an a half but it did not show me anything in 'configuration' window - was hanging all the time and then droppping connection.

Hi, I got mobridge bluetooth installed in my 2006 997 C2. I have PCM 2.1, did not have cd changer, did not have Bose . At same time i got installed native navigation kit, mobridge sits on same bus. from what I can see all connectivity was done correctly. Phone can be paired with mobridge, ipod shows charging when ignition is turned on and writes 'mobridge' on the screen. So, bad news are - PCM does not see mobridge at all. pressing TEL button does nothing but usual error message. pressing CD button twice shows 'cd changer: no cd'. Dealer tried to code on and off CD changer but it did not do any difference. I contected seller, he instructed me to insert blank SD card into unit - it generated file mobridge.txt of 0 bytes size and weird date. I tried today to pair my notebook with mobdridge wizard software, tried to make a connection to COM port assigned to 'mobridge Blues API1'. it practically did not work, was very glitchy, i tried for an hour an a half but it did not show me anything in 'configuration' window - was hanging all the time and then droppping connection. so the question is - do I have a faulty unit and if yes, what other tests can I do to check that? Other question - since I never had CD changer in my car, was it supposed to be pre-activated somehow prior to mObridge install? I tried to contact support but got no response yet. They are not very responsive Can anybody here comment on this frustrating thing?
