This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

POST 1Original post

I know GT Purely Porsche did an article about 4 months ago and 911 & PW about 3 months ago - back issues on their websites. BTW, why a 15K difference? Let me know what they are like to drive, I'm having the same dilemma as I now go to final spec and my OPC can't get an X50 eqipped car for me to drive.

POST 2Original post

a qucik question every mag I have read have raved about the carbon/ceramic disks are you going for these as an option? are they much better? cheers

POST 3Original post

Evo magazine issue 047 of Sept 2002. Has 575M vs Vanquish vs Murciealago vs 996 TT X50 all cars in Silver...996TT had it sewn up as a drivers car,(their words) but was a little clinical in it's delivery so the eventual winner was Murcielago...even though it cost £168K.

POST 4Original post

I have read the Evo and 911 PW articles. I think I still have both magazines at home and can dig them out and bring them to Pistonfest if anyone wants a read. DAZ

POST 5Original post

My OPC couldn't get either car for me to drive, so it had to be in for the penny................. I haven't regretted it. DAZ

POST 6Original post

I have only driven the X50 so can't compare the two but I can tell you that the X50 is quite fast Rude not to go the whole hog I would think...

POST 7Original post

I can tell you that the X50 is quite fast Quite fast ? err! compared to what? I have driven a regular Turbo and been fortunate enough to have been a passenger in a couple of X50 including Dazren's. When the boost came on I thought it was "OHHH MYYY GOOODDDD!!!!!!" fast.

POST 8Original post

Just ordered mine... X50 of course. (I sold my accountant to pay for it)

POST 10Original post

Oct/Nov... ie a LONG time to wait. Just bought a Mini Cooper S to keep my mind off it.

POST 11Original post

Hey Steve, you forgot to add that you sold your R500...or am I being too presumptuous?... >> Edited by rubystone on Saturday 21st June 16:51

POST 12Original post

Sold R500 and M3 E46 Too damn uncomfortable and too damn slow (and that just describes me!)

POST 13Original post

Steve that wait is going to seem endless. Hey, Buster how did you get on? DAZ

POST 14Original post

I tried an SV R500 for size yesterday - perfect for the "larger man" Steve - maybe you were too hasty...but I'm looking forward to your reports on the on-track performance of the 996 TT

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

ALL MINE! Collect in two weeks - took the plunge for the X50! (....it's only money!) Drove the 420bhp turbo (tip) BTB with the 450. Certainly the most awesome car I've driven - Want it NOW. (Stamping foot....)

POST 16Original post

If you guys think an X50 TT is fast, you should try a GT2

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am too poor Being on welfare is so restrictive at times. Oh well, perhaps I'll win the lottery one day. (Perhaps actually buying tickets would help)

POST 18Original post

Sorry too poor. More importantly too crap a driver. DAZ Edited to say: BUSTER, YOU DA MAN!!!! >> Edited by dazren (moderator) on Sunday 22 June 11:58

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will not have the Porsche in time and Cerby will be at the dealer (no change there!) I'LL BE IN THE BENTLEY

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
