Ruf Bumper

Does anyone know if its possible to buy this bumper Ive searched and can't find it anywhere .

hey Chris....Try Design911 in Hauinet,Essex.....They do custom bodyworks.....Give them the template and they might make one for you...Bet it would be cheaper than Ruf....Get urs done, and I shall hop in second.... Google their website- well laid out when I last checked... ps: any news on Capristo? (oops was tht meant to be a secret?)

Also, am not so sure about tht GT3 bumper look (the black, plastic, smiley slots on the top)......Its probably there on the GT3 and RUF for the 3rd radiator cooling.... My worry is that on the CS, it could disturb the aerodynamics; as at speed the air would be going thro the slots into the inside of the bumper creating drag-stoppage, rather than flowing smoothly over the front and across the roof....

There is a RUF pricelist in the FILES section here, is that bumper on the list?

Checked the Files section...It only has complete car prices, not individual body parts...Though I think the Ruf website markets them seperately.

Apparently its available from September , will phone RUF this week to try and find out more , I bet its expensive

About £2000 plus fitting and painting then , looks loads better than the Porsche Aero kit though , I think its the best front iv'e seen on a Cayman

£2000...?...Am definitely getting one then....The Strosek side skirts would look great with it. Its been almost a year since I got the CS...Time for a facelift, me thinks....in addition to K&N filter (being done tomorrow) + ? Borla/AWE catback in the near future.

Is that 2000 with all the lights and fittings? Any chance for a group buy?

Prices i must have been thinking of something else.... here is the price that was e-mail to me... "RUF front bumper 3400 K incl. additional front lamps € 3,395" i got that from kareldeeley... is it ok if i post the rest of the PDF or is that against one of the rules?

Thanks for the files Chare have noticed the prices do not include vat but do include assembly and painting . Not sure how that would work on buying a single item so will phone them later today to clarify .

Yep...similar looking....but Ruf's front intakes are bigger and more aggressive looking; and moreover the front skirts are body-painted.... Thanx Daggie for ur kind offer...lets see what the future holds...

Thank you for your kind offer but what I took from RUF's email was that they won't even sell you a bumper, but they will supply and fit one if you take the car to them . I would love to see what the bumper would look like on a black Cayman . Mines Basalt black and im wondering if it would look as good as the blue car in the pic .The grills and vent near the bumper would not stand out the same , is anyone a real wizz with photoshop that could change the colour please ?

I thought their main facility was now in the middle east?

I talked to RUF today and there are no bumpers anywhere in the world, the last production of them had faults so RUF is switching suppliers and the next batch hasn't been made yet. They will announce when new ones are ready and they are just as frustrated as the buyers.

That's a nice one, is there a bigger picture? What's the website of M's bumper?

What about the Rinspeed front bumper? It looks simpler but still agressive. I know there are few places that sell them, expensive but probably still cheaper than Ruf

The facilty in the middle east is a 2nd facilty to germany. He opened this as part of his relationship to the family that pretty much has funded a good portion of his business by their countless purchases.
