Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Replace reg' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace reg' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I was paying £700+ for my C2S with Performance Marque and it came down to £425 for the TT through PIS, including 2 trackdays
I called around a lot of the specialist insurers, as Haggerty no longer insure cars built after 2001. Be prepared though, premiums have increased massively - I think 50% in the broader market - 100% in my case!
In the end I went with Bridle - the Equity Red Star 'Shadow Fleet' policy. Was competetive and very unrestrictive - unlimited miles, any driver, £250 excess etc.
It may only work with London based cars, as the premiums are bracketed by value (from memory), 0-£45k, £45k-£75k and £75k and above, so I am uncertain how location affects premiums.
For my situation, it was by far the best value.
For the past 12 months I have been with Swift - Oct 09 the premium was £680 for my C4S.
Swift's online auto renewal just blew me away - they tried to mug me at £850 with zero claims history
Checked out confused.com and ***** me - who do you think came up cheapest....
thats right, bloody Swift at £465 with the same cover.
Unbelivable, but was that price only as an intraductory offer for new customers and as such N/a for existing ones?
It's worth spending time shopping around :thumb:
Try Mannings - dont know about the premium increase over the last 12 months but my renewal as only gone up £16 :thumb:
All the same I will try Classic Line to see what they can do although unless there is a good reduction I will stick with Mannings - very professional service :thumb:
Mind if I ask you where you are based? All my quotes for a turbo cab, kept in a locked garage were £1k and above, often £1900+ at the specialist insurers.
Never had a claim, full licence for 20 years, no points etc
Perhaps I have a dodgy postcode...
i am just about to renew this week, 996 carrera4s through esure @ £714.
endsleigh came out a bit cheaper £679ish.
i have been happy with esure, changing reg. numbers etc, so i will stick with them.
policy prices have increased a lot this year according to the media and my renewal backs this up as last term it was £640ish.
i finally went with Bridle
insurance
for £750 with 10+ years NCB protected.
These two points were the clincher over price:
If my car 996 C4S is written off/damaged they pay the value of the car + taking into consideration the optional extras on the car (my car has PCCB brakes).
i can choose where to get my car repaired, rather than being told i can only goto certain garages/body shops.
These points swung it for me against other offers which were cheaper.
