Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

However, I do believe some stalks can be replaced but they're not sold separately

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Okay so just had the oil leak sorted... fine job done... and out for a spin today and dear old Murphy has decided that he hasn't finished with me. While using my indicator it decides it's going spit the dummy... now when turning left it won't reset, and when turning right I need to hold it on... I've done a quick few searches on here and it looks like I'm going to need a new one. Replacement looks fairly easy with those DIY YouTube videos. But my question is does anybody know the part number for a 01 Turbo, it's got 4 stalks in total, Indicator and computer on the left and lights and cruise on the right? I gather you have to get the entire assembly? or has anybody here managed to fix theirs?

Stalking Problem

Pt No you require from PET is
996 613 219 10 EWC
at £182.71 inc taxes in UK.
Strangely 3 stalk version without cruise is over £200!!
Hope this helps.
Cheers

Thanks for the info. From what I can gather a bit of broken plastic is the likely cause. I thinking I might whip it out, examine it and if appropriate see if my local plastic welding/fabrication chap who has always done excellent work for me can fix it. Just one thing so I'm absolutely sure on the removal. Does anybody have the exact steps to disconnect and remove the steering wheel/airbag so I have no issues with airbag fault lights and having to get them reset.
Cheers
