Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Install aerokit' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install aerokit' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi guys, I'm wondering if I put a GT2 front bumper and spoiler on my 996TT would it affect the value of the car? If so, in what direction? Thanks for the input.
To some people it will be more desirable, to others less...
There is no generic answer to this. The majority would probably say less desirable though. But then you'd get 1 person who would 110% love it, and they would be your market...
:dont know:
The GT2 aero kit generates a lot of downforce so unless you are balancing up the rear I'd avoid doing it as the GT2 rear aero generates about 25% more downforce vs the turbo.....high-speed imbalance perhaps?
As for affecting value......hmmm you will be asked all sorts of questions as to why it's got a GT2 WB front bumper fitted which a potential owner may or may not believe your answer and simply walk away.
For some reason rear spoiler upgrades on std cars seem to be acceptable(with more subtle front aero's) but that's about it as far as generally accepted aero upgrades go on std NB cars...but yours is a turbo so who knows
Its going to cost you the best part of £5k to buy the PU and wing, but you could always keep your turbo parts and revert to standard when you sell the car then just flea bay the GT2 parts separately?
I also think you have to fanny round with the centre radiator as well when fitting the front PU - so bear in mind if you go down this route.
Interesting question as I faced a similar dilemma when I was buying mine, it has a factory fitted Aerokit, not totally sure what the advantage is, if any, and at first I walked away. Then a few days later I had another look and decided I actually quite liked it. But for me it was not a deciding factor one way or the other.
Oh, this is it
