I suppose I knew what that entailed at the time, but now I have no idea what I would say if I had to replace suspension components.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are the M030 struts / shocks shorter than the standard items? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

I am sure they are different, because in the parts catalog you have to specify m030 option or not when ordering new struts. I would think a little shorter, as the m030 option lowers the car.

I don’t know the answer but it brought up another question for me. My car did not come with the m030 option, but I purchased the entire kit from a dealer a few years back. I suppose I knew what that entailed at the time, but now I have no idea what I would say if I had to replace suspension components. Does anyone know if that kit would qualify as having the m030 Option? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

POST 4Original post

If you bought the complete kit then you have m030 option. If not mistaken that would be a factory retrofit. I am planning that for next year.

POST 5Original post

As someone who updated his 2003 S from standard to ROW M030 I can say I believe it is a nice upgrade!
