Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone passed an MOT with pagid yellows fitted? On the box/ website it states 'not for street use' or something like that... :dont know:

POST 2Original post

.....unless you shout it out the only specific interest the MOT tester will have in your brake pads is the thickness of them(pass or fail) and if they stop the disc from turning when required on the rollers. In answer to your question....yes. If you are involved in a serious accident and the cops examine your brakes and find pads that they are not happy about, then you may have a bigger issue to worry about.

POST 3Original post

Yes But anyway MOT testers have no interest in what make your pads are anyway, only that they work to the required standards

POST 4Original post

So long as you don't drive into the back of someone when they are cold you wil be fine. At low speed on the rollers for the MOT they will work fine too.
