Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

a few month ago i hit a pot hole at speed, dislodged a wheel arch plastic lining. replaced that with minimum cost. but since then i've discovered something else: i live in shanghai, and i use the horn a lot when driving. ever since the hit, the horn has gotten some what of a comical flavour, i can't quite put my finger on it, but it sounds as if the car has got a cold. my guess is some tube is loose since the jolt. so my question is anyone else have had this problem ? what did you do to fix it ? i am hoping its some easy fix like opening a panel and tigtening some clip. if all else fails i'll take it to the dealer.

your low horn is probably out, you can do a search on horns for more info on the forum but this thread addresses the problem: http://www.planet-9.com/cayman-boxster-problems-complaints/18346-low-horn-out.html
