This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Showed up in the am when I got into the car. Any idea what this maybe and has it happen to anyone else, if so how to correct issue? Thanks in advance for all the help!

POST 2Original post

That's bizarre. It looks like it's been damaged from the inside of the display such that the backlight is shining through.

POST 4Original post

I would get a new cluster and have it replaced at the dealer (even if you don't normally service the car at the dealer). So that you will have an official record of how the odometer has been tampered with but proven to be a legal way. I've replaced our Merecedes one before, and the dealer had a formal process of documenting the odometer readings. It saved us a lot of explaining when we sold the car.
