I checked a while ago via this forum and the recommended upholster was around $700 from memory which is more than a new wheel so hopefully someone has a cheaper option.

Have an old momo jackie stewart wheel with leather cracking and seems ob their way out. Have tried to diy with dye and this other method i saw using lacquer thinner and paint and it still looks and feels sub par. Anyone have a recommendation for a decent but reasonable restorer ? I checked a while ago via this forum and the recommended upholster was around $700 from memory which is more than a new wheel so hopefully someone has a cheaper option.

yes, these guys were superb, big outside of Porsche world (leather, alcantara etc) and literally 1/3 cost quote from Porsche suppliers for the same wheel and same job. I suggest visit face to face. https://www.xoticleather.com

Thanks. Gave them a call and they send the wheel off to malaysia to get retrimmed. Price was decent though. Do you have pics of the job they did for you?

I had an alcantara bmw e46 m3 csl wheel retrimmed including full tri colour m stitching redone. It was absolutely perfect upon return. Car sold since at a world record price. I already suggested go and check out their work yourself.. All the best with your project.
