Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Had my tt almost a year now done 63k went out last weak and now have noise in engine sounds like intermedete shaft it goes after 2k revs I nowe its not bottom end and its not load related. This is very rare on tt engines just my luck.
Welcome to the forum, have you had this checked out by a tech? does it just sound 'chattery' when idling? if so welcome again to the noisy turbo engine club, if its any consolation mine does this and has so since I got it, I'm sure a few folk on here will chip in that theirs does it too - its very common and nothing to worry about. get it checked out to be sure. also if you search on here and other forums you will see how wide spread this is.
Yep... Sounds like a diesel when idling and cold
Had mine a year and 18,000 miles (some of them quite fast
http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=57819&highlight=
) and it hasn't changed a bit.
Chill
(But worth getting an expert to check it out, just in case)
Porsche made Tractors originally before sports cars and they decided they wanted that tractor sound for there high end sports cars just to bring them back to there roots when driveing around..!!
Mine has the same annoys me but after fitting my new exhaust its no longer there as i cant hear it
I dont think it would just start after 63 thousand it's more like you havent noticed it but if you still think its not been there before then get it checked out as you dont want anything random to happen, break, mangle, pop, bang and ouch! new engine please.
The aux drive belt pulley can sound terrible, as can the water pump in mid-high mileage cars. The actual aux belt can also emit noise.....spray some water on the belt(underneath the airbox) If teh noise goes away you have your answer.
BTW - GT's and Turbo's often sound like bag of spanners
Actually, Wiz has made a good point there... Water pumps fail about that mileage (ask me how I know) and sound really dreadful just before they dump 20 litres of coolant and leave you stranded in the middle of France with no breakdown cover
Same noise here and mine has only done 25k miles. I have taken it to the OPC as well.
I said to them that I didn't expect a £100K car to sound like a £15k Renault diesel and they said the same thing, they all do it apparently and some are noisier than others !!
