Did a search, but cannot find any help. I have the standard sound system, '09 CS. The directions are a bit fuzzy, and I cannot turn on the bluetooth. I have the cars original window sticker, and Bluetooth was on the option list. What is the secret to turning on the Bluetooth? I've tried every button combo.
I have an 09 CS and the only bluetooth operation is for a cell phone. Pair your phone from the PCM and your phone will work via bluetooth. As far as Music, etc, NG. Try a search and you will find some aftermarket blutooth options . You can also use an Aux cable from the center console for music.
I don't have PCM, as stated, standard sound system, CDR30. I don't care about music. I want to pair my Samsung S4 phone and use it for calls. The CDR30 manual states:
> Press the PHONE button.
(did that)
If Bluetooth is deactivated then Bluetooth must be switched on:
> If necessary, press the Bluetooth SoftKey to activate Bluetooth.
I don't see the BT softkey.
My window sticker states:
Bluetooth Interface for Mobile $695.
I installed a "Techno tooth" Bluetooth adapter to the CDR24. Pedro's garage made up the adapter cables.
Hmm, no solutions offered. Guess I need to visit the dealer...$$$
I do recall seeing a BT soft key. I fumbled into it, when I was pairing my phones (iPhone 6 and Samsung GS5). I really wish I could help you, but I pulled my CDR30 out of my car within a week after buying it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. If it were still in my car, I'd run out and get you the info.
Hopefully someone can look into this for you. No sense in spending money at the dealer!
that is what I was hoping for. nobody else has the CD-R 30 and a Samsung phone?
Don't have a Samsung phone, but do have CDR30. After you press "phone", press "set". You should see the softkey identified as the upper right button and the screen should show if Bluetooth is on. If not, press the key and you should have a check mark in the box.
That's the problem, no bluetooth softkey after pressing set.
