Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

and yes, it would have gone further - it was still accelerating reasonably hard (I took two photos about half a second apart and the speed had changed by 1 mph) reckon I might have seen 200 on the speedo with another mile of straight road.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Except perhaps... YEEE-HAAAA! That bend coming up on the sat nav doesn't look too scary does it? ... until you see the speedo!

POST 3Original post

Holy ***** ! Is that in the turbo ? Did she have anymore to go ?

POST 5Original post

Top man! I notice your knuckles aren't in the frame! Did it look like this a couple of miles down the road? (Spot the difference)

POST 8Original post

you gorra luv a turbo.....I bet it got up there pretty quick too.

POST 11Original post

 Did the Sat Nav MPH agree with the dials?

POST 12Original post

That pic gives me a hard on - what a rush... :thumb:

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It was about 4 mph less on the sat nav - showed 300 kph exactly Note the photo is taken with a hand-held DSLR and yes, it would have gone further - it was still accelerating reasonably hard (I took two photos about half a second apart and the speed had changed by 1 mph) reckon I might have seen 200 on the speedo with another mile of straight road. Actually it's astonishing how quickly it gets to 180 mph - just pulls hard all the way there, without any noticeable drop in acceleration rate. I think mine is a standard Turbo, so God knows what an S or a GT2 must be like! The one thing a photo can't capture is the smell of the brakes... LOL Had new discs and pads for the trip - think I might need some more soon! :thumb: I was meant to be trading the car this month, but I think I might try and keep it now :thumb:

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Haha - very good, but actually no... I still averaged better than 20 mpg for the whole trip and I had the cruise control set at 150 mph for at least 200 miles in total (drove through the night down to Bavaria). 70 mph doesn't half seem slow now... :hand:

POST 15Original post

Ah, that's how to get my MPG up. I'm driving way too slowly. 8) TB
