I looked around and searched. No luck. B4 I ship my transmission to GBox in Boulder, CO in and igloo 140qt cooler... does anyone have a recommendation for a somewhat local shop or technician that they trust in/around Charlotte NC? My 2007 CS manual transmission is dropping out of 6th. (Details in another thread). Thanks for any feedback. John T

I will check black forest. Thanks for the suggestion. Spoke w guy at EuroFed. Asked what R+R price was on transmission. $1812 alone for that. :eyesbuggedout: almost 2k just to remove and reinstall the transmission. Smdh. At $129/hr I can do the job myself in about 10 hours on blocks (like stands, but under the tires). I will call black forest to get a feel, but honestly I'm gonna need to get warm and fuzzys that they have someone in the shop that knows what they're looking at/for when they get inside the tranny.

A little late on this, but try Touring Car in Stallings. I have been going to them for +20 years on my E36 and E46 M3s and they know Porsches even better. They just did a PPI on my ‘11 987.2 and have done all my track prep and all my buddies. Great folks.
