Picking up a 2011 Cayman with 28K miles for $31,900. First Porche 5th sports car. I had a Miata,SLK, Two Vettes, and the Fiat 124. I think the Cayman will beat them all as its the only one of the bunch that delivers great handling AND 160 MPH ability. Picking it up Tomorrow. Looking forward to learning a lot here.
My other ride is a 2020 Ridgeline RTLE I only put 2500 miles on in a year Now I will share miles with the Porsche LOL Not too many. The wife has a CRV and puts 10K a year on it.. I'm going to have to find reasons to drive so I don't know if it's permanent
Congratulations!

Welcome! I used to live in North Carolina. I'm in California now.
I've had a Miata and a Fiat 124. While they were fun cars, the Cayman will be more fun.
Nice car!
Welcome to the group.
I saw a Fiata yesterday… saw a C4 today… great car
ohhh and welcome!!
Before the Fiata there was the Fiat. Here's my senior year HS car
nice!! I referring to the fiat/Miata combo car…
Aurelio Lampredi twin cam, famous engine designer including some Ferrari's. It was VERY easy to put a cam belt on IF you knew what you were doing. Remove the front shroud, line up a few arrows, replace belt and shroud, I did a lot of them. Generous repair room too unless you need to replace the starter which has one difficult element to it. That's how I got that car, the PO sold it to us as a roller, we always had SOHC and DOHC Lampredi engines rebuilt and ready to rock.
Last one Here's the hood of a sold one I'm prepping at age 16 in the Esso that had once exploded and been rebuilt. We moved after that.
I was 16 or 17 and I handed my mom my report card from school with straight A's. I was one of 6 siblings at the time and I think she was frustrated with her kids lack of educational ambition, Soooooo
She decided to use me as an example and told me the next day "get in the car". I did as she said and it was rare to have mom all to yourself so that was kind of cool anyway. She wouldn't divulge, but then we arrived at a Jaguar/MG dealership and she BOUGHT me this!
Honestly, I think that's where my affection for 2-seat roadsters suddenly resurfaced from in my 60's. And I won't part with either the Mazdarati or the Boxster ever! I might add to them, but never get rid of them. Something about them can make me feel special. Thanks mom. Lol
My grown kids just roll their eyes when I park in their yard. And my siblings to this day pretty much do the same.
(I have no original pictures. That was ½ a century ago)

Congrats! That’s a heck of a buy! I just bought my Cayman and first P-Car in Myrtle Beach but I live in CLT.
Check this out. I was going through some factory books my dad received from Fiat. Here is something you don't see a photo of every day: The powerplant of the Fiat Dino which is the same engine of the 246 Ferrari Dino. Book stated that in order for homologation for F2 Ferrari had Fiat produce Dino variants, here is a photo Fiat proudly included.
