I understand there are two rubber isolators called "Engine Mount Support Stops," but given that I have the newest engine mount, I'm not sure which part number to use for the support stops.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going to be replacing the front engine mount on my '98, and bought the "new and improved" version. I understand there are two rubber isolators called "Engine Mount Support Stops," but given that I have the newest engine mount, I'm not sure which part number to use for the support stops. I've read where they didn't fit in some situations, and I can only assume there's more than one version. Which version do I need to fit the newer style engine mount? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Don't remember the part numbers but you need the 987 mount and side rubbers.
