I think that they are using eBay to get some calls on their lot cars.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The guy has like 10 porsches on (say $750,000 worth) and has never sold a car.
And, all of the photos look kind of like camera phone picture quality to me.
The warning bells are all over this one. Be very careful.
First one is an automatic with Boxster wheels... ewwww but looks like reserve was $5k under MSRP which isn't a bad discount if it is legit.
Second one looks like a decent build of options and would be of interest to people here, since bidding is so low at the moment no telling what the reserve is.
Third link is the same as the first one.
When you click - view sellers other items - you see the rest of the cars he has for sale, supposably six Caymans and four 911's.

It's Auto Palace in Pittsburgh. Authorized Porsche Dealer. I know the manager of the business. You can see the cars on the Porsche site when you search his inventory. Lot's of Caymans, not too many buyers in our crummy weather in this area. -Pete
I think that they are using eBay to get some calls on their lot cars. I've seen this done with jewelry and other items. Generally no sale on eBay, but interest otherwise and cheap advertising.
On the other hand, a listing on eBay that looks that shady can't be a good idea for anyone. -Pete
Reminds me of the time that I was shopping for a plasma flat screen panel and a link to e-Bay came up on a Froogle search for the model that I was looking for. The price was right; about 50% of MSRP. I contacted the seller and got an e-mailfrom Poland asking me to send a UPS money order to a small town in Poland. I said great, but lets make this a UPS COD. That was the last I heard from them. If it looks to good to be true......

So the seller ended all of these Cayman auctions - unsold - and only left them on for two days out of the six originally listed.
Still seems a bit strange to me. Someone had a change of heart that's for sure.
This is a legit Porsche dealer with real cars. They have a great inventory and service. Just because they want to sell cars don't bash them for it. Call them and see for your self! There was no change of hart w/ebay, Porsche made them take them off.

I have Dealt with these guys on a new cayman this week. They are forreal and they discounted everything very fairly. I would highly recommend them. My car was delivered this morning as promised and looks beautiful. I will have pictures up shortly.
