Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Yes I do have a few bikes. Somewhat of an addiction like Porsches. My fun bike a Triumph Daytona 955, more of a daily rider. Also BMW and racing Harley yes believe it or not the factory road raced, they made 500 for the street in 1984 called XR1000. These are road racers with dual Delortos straight from the factory. A load torquey thing. I love your bike but I am to large for a Ducati. I want a Yamaha LE, but I just baught a Cayman andmust catch up a little first.

Thanks, ill post some more pics of it. Its grey with red wheels- the senna edition. sounds wierd but trust me it looks cool. I have a bike addiction too. i want an mv agusta, ducati hypermotard and triumph scrambler. I also want a cayman. it never ends.
Motorcycles have been my primary addiction for many years. I raced this one at Willow Springs in '90 and '91.
I'm looking forward driving my Cayman at Willow- I don't know how to drive, but I know my way around that track!
You bet! A MV Agusta 750 Brutale and a 1998 TZ250 Yamaha GP bike that I now use as a track day bike . I have been addicted to motorcycles for 30 years and it seems to be getting worse!
fulltwist- can you post any pics of your brutale and any reviews you may have on it. I sat on a 910 last weekend at the motorcycle show and was shocked. it was so comfortable compared to my supersport. The higher handle bar position was ideal for me. in the next year i m going to buy either a normal 910 or a 910R.
Yes, I have a 2003 Ducati 749S Monoposto (love that yellow) and a 2003 BMW K1200GT. I'm afraid that I just don't have enough room in the garage for both bikes and a Cayman. I keep my good old 1998 4 door 5 speed M3 in the driveway. So, the Ducati is for sale. If I have to have just one bike, the BMW is clearly more versatile. It really is a great autobahn bike and I can ride two up. Come to think of it, I got the Monoposto so I didn't have to take anyone with me.......
I currently have an 05 Harley Road Glide. This is the first time I have been down to one motorcycle in many years. Most recently I had a few Ducatis and before that BMWs, Harleys and Hondas.

I have a 96 Ducati 900sp currently but have owned a 1980 Ducati 900ss, Norton 850, and a couple of Honda's. Its hard to believe I would ever be without a bike.

For those of you who have bikes, have you ever gotten into an accident? I never have, but my bestfriend who owned the same bike totalled his not too long ago.He swears he'll never buy another bike again, although he LOVES bikes.
I guess the reason why Im asking is because i want to know what made you decide on getting another bike.
I have been in many accidents on bikes, and few in cars. I raced bikes till I was 43, I spilled a few times at speeds of MPH. No big deal if you are wearing protective gear. The new jackets that are plated in the right areas will work fine for sliding down the blacktop. Always wear high quality gloves, never ridein shorts and sandals (very stupid). I wear jeans without knee protection but as I am now 54 I add more padding when I'm doing serious sport riding. If you can take a good high performance riding school. You will gain the necessary confidence to ride fast and safely.
Thank you for the reply. I dont own a full suit and wont buy one until i track my bike. I always wear a helmet and gloves. But the gloves are my workout gloves with cut out fingers. I only wear them for the extra grip plus they're very comfy. I have an alpinestars jacket but i only wear it when its cold. I dont ride much during the winter, mostly only during sunny summer days.So basically ionly wear jeans, t-shirts, half-assed gloves anda helmet. I know it wont protect my skin at all which is why im scared of falling down. But I dont feel comfortable in suits plus there's no greater feeling than riding under the warm californiasunshine with cool air freely hitting my body.
I'll take your advice on the high performance riding school. its something Ive always wanted to do.
I know the feeling ofbrief rides without protection - it is incredible. With that said, it is quite rare that I do that. I usually wear full protection (Dainese jacket, gloves, shoes/boots, and helmet). Sometimes a spine protector. Sometimes leather pants, especially when I know I will begoing real fastfor an extended period.
I have treated too many patients from MVA's with massive injuries not to wear a seatbelt or have an airbag. I have also treated the motorcycle riders who have survived (many don't), and I can tell you unequivically that protective gear saves lives and can reduce some horrible injuries. You only have to see someone who has slid on the asphalt, and abraded down to bone only once. Or someone who didn't wear a helmet and took a spill, no matter what speed. It is true that at high speed it may not matter, but not all injuries occur at 100+ MPH.
Many of my colleagues don't quite understand why we ride, but we all do. Ride safe and keep the rubber side down.
Wow this forum is filled with top class people. Imember justPM'ed me with his concern and adviced me on getting a mesh protective jacket- which would still give me the feeling of riding freely without the heavy jacket and protect me at the same time. Needless to say, I'll buy the jacket once summer rolls around.
Its a really great feeling to be part of such an awesome community. Ride safe guys.
I use a mesh jacket on hot days, too. Dainese makes one with good shoulder and elbow protection, as well as a pocket in the back for a spine protector.
