This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Make sure you do your research, they CAN have all sorts of issues. IMS, RMS etc The real question isn't if it'll have them. But more, if you do have such issues, especially within a short period of time, can you justify fixing it. Good luck with the search, there's plenty of good ones out there. Lots of shockers I'm sure.

^^ Good comments. Essentially a car which was expensive when new is never going to have Fiesta running costs even if you can buy a used one for Fiesta money. Just looked at your profile. I can't imagine a Boxster is any more frightening than a TVR!

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

really enjoyed all my tvr's I will have another one in a couple of years , in the meantime , I think its time to try the Porsche ...have driven a few in the past, favourite was a Carrera 4s.... that's on my list of cars to own... but thinking a 3.2 boxster would be a good entry level car for a couple of years. plus they do seem good value compared to other sports cars around from the same era. similar mileage and age tvrs are currently around the 20k mark .
