Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Congratulations Ken. I'm so happy for you.. But I don't understand Porsche, as a tribute to you for all you did for the all the guys in the world who were waiting for their baby, they should have delivered your Cayman first and for free/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif

POST 5Original post

POST 7Original post

Thanks for the congrats, this thread was most unexpected but nice to see while I sit in a hotel room prepping for an upcoming meeting. The car arrived at my dealership yesterday as I was flying out of town so I have't driven it yet (not mine, have driven others) or had a chance to take any detailed photos, etc. I sort of figure that I've waited this long, what's a little bit longer right? /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/tounge_smile.gif As far as Porsche delivering my car first or for free, I did have an opportunity to take an earlier delivery but turned it down for a couple of reasons and as much as I like Porsche I wouldn't expect them to do something for free, they are in business to make money. I have a good relationship with Porsche and that's enough for now, if it grows over time and I get perks, hey great, if not, that's Ok too. I do hope a number of you are joining PCA and will come to some events this year so we can see multiple colors lined up. A few events to consider are: April - Advanced DE and Club Race at Heartland Park May - Ozark Weekend June - All level DE at Heartland Park August - National Porsche Parade in Portland, Oregon. (best chance to get all colors together) BTW, I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone here who makes this site enjoyable. I visited the Roadfly Cayman forum the other day and it was nothing but Cayman bashing over price/performance and a bunch of stupid stuff. You, the members here, have made this a top-notch Cayman site while leaving all of the petty bickering to the other sites (who know who they are!). If I built this site and no one showed up it never would have amounted to much so I have to give a big thanks to all of you as well. I also thank you for helping me with my Porsche Addiction Syndrome! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thanks.gif Ok, meet me at the hotel bar, drinks are on me! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/beer1.gif/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/beer2.gif/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/drinkers.gif

POST 9Original post

I'd Like to add to the congratulations ... I picked up my cayman yesterday - 3 Weeks LATE (longest three weeks o my life) and it is of course awesome. I'd also like to state categorically that Porche AG have sold a cayman solely on the strength of this forum (where I have been lurking for a long time now) .... my plan was to pick up a used 987, and the desire for a cayman was generated almost solely by this ite ... and am I ever glad about that Congrats on your new baby Ken And sincere thanks for all your efforts. Colm
