Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

live in AZ and was wondering how to have both my Radiator Fans run at High Speed only. It is getting to that time of year when every bit of cooling is needed. I just cleaned out my annual supply of cig butts, gravel, animal fur from my radiator, so while i am at it i thought would ask about the fan speeds. Is this possible and what are the down sides? Would be just a case of jumping the grounds on the High and Low relays for each side?

POST 2Original post

I think the fans would probably wear out faster, and the car would be quite noisy. I would recommend doing the low temp 160 thermostat change-out if you haven't already. It's relatively simple and cost me around $50.
