Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

You'll end up with MoT probs as the Boxster is post 1992, however you can get 100 cell cats (sports cats) etc. Do a quick search under Boxster and sports exhaust on this forum over 6 months and see if anything comes up. Otherwise speak to a company like Hayward and Scott, who specialise in Porsche exhausts. Cheers Domster

POST 2Original post

Just be aware that other than turbo/supercharging it you will stuggle to get any noticable power gains from the 2.5.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys I have recently moved from an Elise to a 2.5 Boxster. The car is great but lets face it, it isn't that quick The Elise had hundreds of mods that can be fitted by the owner that would give you more BHP, what is around for my Boxster Is it possble to bypass the CAT's ? as after inspecting the exhaust system - it does look rather puney!! Thanks SVG
