It seems I pinched it between the engine and the body when replacing the motor.

Suggestion · Original poster

I've got a very slow coolant leak, which I've narrowed down to one of the hard pipes running between the reservoir and the "splitter" on the front- right of the motor.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got a very slow coolant leak, which I've narrowed down to one of the hard pipes running between the reservoir and the "splitter" on the front- right of the motor. It seems I pinched it between the engine and the body when replacing the motor. I'd love to find a diagram with part numbers, or even reference- names, so I can ask for ther right item. But I haven't yet found such. Anybody got something like that? Or, if you're parting and have one if these hoses/ pipes you'd like to sell to me? TIA Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

Thanks, JFP. 99610666302 Engine coolant filler neck. My local says there aren't any in the U.S. do you know anything different, by chance? Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

POST 5Original post

Our supplier says 7 days out, so it probably is coming from Germany.

POST 6Original post

Pretty sure I have a good one. I'll update in a couple hours.

Hey May... Is this what you're looking for? https:// www.ebay.com /p/1358402862 https:// parts.byersporsche.com /p/Porsche__/Engine-Coolant-Filler-Neck/48649581/99610666302.html Remove the spaces. I found many of that part... if that's the one for which you're looking.

That is the one. I sent that first seller a message a couple of hours ago. I've bought and cancelled from him before because he quotes an arrival date, but them claims that's a ship date. I called Byers and they told me it ships from Germany, and that there's no way it'll get here before March. I didn't see any others. What'd you search? I'd prefer to not be on jack stands any more than a couple more days. I've got projects stacking up like crazy. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

I found one and I really need to clear out some of these parts that I hope I never need. Just PM me where to send it. (Black hose shown for reference, not included.)

POST 13Original post

I'm cutting up a box to fit it right now. I'll mail it to someone else tomorrow if you don't tell me where to send it.

POST 14Original post

While I'm loading up the box, are there any other smallish parts you need? The plastic mount for the tube? Used IMS bearing?

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 611762

Haha. Yes! As a matter of fact, the little plastic double sided "clamps" that hold the two pipes to the body. I could use at least one. Two if you've got them and it's convenient. Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

POST 16Original post

Ok, two clamps and a Rock Auto magnet (late model trucks are meh, I like the classics). Box is closed and I'm done for the night.
