hi guys, I have a 2001 996 Carrera , thinking of changing my suspension all-round including springs, what brand should I consider, and should I replace anything else on my 21 year old car, whilst on the hoist?? any advise would be gladly appreciated by a complete novice

What are you plans and goals for the car? Do you want to improve the handling performance over what the factory car offers, or simply return it to as new factory? How will you be using the car? Track days? Twisty roads etc etc. There are many options for these cars so more information is needed.

Hi Ferry, just want to return it to factory specs, I don't track or drive fast, but I love twisty drives great ocean road etc, car is not an everyday driver, would like a softish ride not harsh,

I would refresh back to factory specs. Probably cheapest option, probably easiest option, probably best option for simplify resale when the time comes. There's also a certain simplicity in just keeping it like it left the factory.
