I am looking for photos of amplifier installs in the frunk of a 986 Boxster. I know that this is the 987 sub forum, but I found a post over in the 986forum that said: "I have seen pictures on Planet-9 of the following: They make a false floor for the frunk out of plywood and bolt the amp upside down to the lower surface of the false floor. They then cover the top side of the false floor with carpet. This would preserve the functionality of your frunk at the cost of only a few inches of depth, and no holes in the actual frunk." Can anyone direct me to topics of members installing amps upside down to the lower surface of a false floor? Thank you

Can anyone help? I just searched the Archives for Caymen/Boxster Electronics, but none of the pictures are viewable. Then I searched in Articles. I just can't find a post and photos on mounting amplifiers in the frunk floor. I found photos of an install on a UK site (below), but that guy installed the amps on the floor and then built a false floor over it. I read where someone on the Planet-9 forum built a false floor and mounted the amps to the bottom side of the false floor. This is what I am so interested in reading about and seeing photos.
