Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Looking for recommendations on cold weather (Minnesota) installation of decals

Reply of the year right there

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the response. Not what I was looking for. What I had in mind was a minimum temperature that would work for a proper installation. The Boxster is in my garage which can be warmed up.

I’d say 50-55F... more so that you’re not freezing your giblets off.

POST 6Original post

most decals are plastic, so the hotter it is the better adhesion you'll get.

POST 7Original post

You can also use a heat gun to warm the area up

POST 8Original post

Start with the decal at room temp. Heat gun the surface your applying it to. I would do it inside if possible. If it warmer than 50 inside you got it licked.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hey guys (Boxsterssteve/Randallneighbor/jsceash/itsnotanota): Thank you for the information. much more useful.....Steve, 50 above would require shedding some outer garments!
