Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'solenoid' (1 discussions report identifying this cause; no attributable repair resolution). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'solenoid' (1 discussions; 1 report identifying it and 0 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.

Suspected cause

I rather suspect lazy coil packs if it's not starting on all cylinders, but it could be other things.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not used it much over winter but when starting it, it will fire but instantly stall unless I keep it going with throttle, after about 15 secs its perfect. Feels like its starting on a couple of cylinders then the rest join in. Is this common? only just started doing it, but then again I normally use it more often. My random thoughts are plug fouling? coil packs are good, or fuel pressure?.

POST 2Original post

have you kept the tank full over winter could be poor petrol it does go off after a while.

POST 3Original post

If it was OK before, maybe just needs using and a fresh tank of VPower?

POST 4Original post

I had a similar problem with warm starts. Turned out to be the solenoid...

POST 5Original post

First step is to pull the fault codes with durametric or a generic code reader. I rather suspect lazy coil packs if it's not starting on all cylinders, but it could be other things.

POST 6Original post

Found the thread for my issue: http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=123878 *edit: just the clutch position sensor bit was what I think may be applicable - the 'sploding engine is unrelated to your issue!

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
