Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Im still getting a slight intermittent misfire so looking at coil replacements.
Well after searching through the forum for reviews and answers on coil packs I followed a link on one of the threads to an eBay seller of surefire coil packs. They were on offer and seeing as that made a full only £150 I thought I would risk it. My car, an 02 C2, had been suffering from lumpy running on tick over and was jerky on and off the throttle.... In fact first thing in the morning it sounded like it wasn't running on all its cylinders until some current had made its way to the coil packs and warmed them up! (Usually 10-20 secs or until the revs rose as I pulled out of the drive.)
Put it up on the ramps in the garage and prepared for the normal swearathon ...... That rear drivers side coil pack is a complete arse to reconnect....
Anyway the long and the short of it is its now as smooth as silk and pulls much harder than previously. As an added bonus the car is also claiming to be doing 3mpg more than it previously did!
.....lets just hope that they last a reasonable amount of time and don't split.
Cheers for the feedback on these......i'd seen them myself and if i'd needed replacements these would have been top of the list.
Keep us posted?

So three years on....... :nooo:
.....car was in Autowerke for a major service and i can report back that every surefire coil pack came apart as they attempted to remove the coil packs to get to the spark plugs. They were a complete pain to get out as the shaft of the coil pack came apart at a level flush with the cam covers ( i took some other coil packs i had in to get the car running and witnessed their removal).... :wall:
I've had genuine coil packs do this.
The square bit and the rubber tube bit are separate components, the square head will pop off leaving the rubber bit behind.
You could just stick your old rubber bits on the surefire heads.
