I have an 08 Cayman with the CDR24 head unit and ASK Amplifier. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any other fuse other than the 25amp that is located in the fuse box. My ASK amplifier doesn't seem to be putting out any sound and wanted to look it over for something simple such as a fuse before taking it in to the dealer. Also, does anyone know if there is a fuse on the back of the radio that work in conjunction with the ASK amplifier:helpme: Thanks, Rob

as far as I know the fuse in the fusebox is the only one. there is nothing on the back on the cdr24 and nothing on the amp itself. take it in for replacement. I had problems with it as well as the CDR24 . unfortunately these are junk

Thanks for the info. It's unfortunate since i have already had the head unit of the CDR24 replaced about 9 months ago as well. On the plus side, these are the only two items i have had to warranty in the last two years on the car.

yup, these have been my only major problems as well. I'd always prefer these in place of a CEL or broken clutch (knock on wood)
