Hi there,
At 90,000 milles, I think it´s time to upgrade the OEM suspension of my 2006 Cayman equipped with PASM.
´been considering Bilstein´s B4/B6/B8/B16, but have noticed Vogtland sells a kit of coils & spring compatible with PASM. I have some friend riding EVOs, Hondas and so that are really happy with the performance of their Vogtland Kits, but I´m wondering if someone here have installed this in a Porsche before. Price is much cheaper, almost 1/2.
Any opinions will be much appreciated.
No one ever installed or heard of Vogtland?
I don't have any experience with them, but I'm curious about your question. Do they have an electronic damper like PASM or are you asking about their springs to use with PASM dampers?
i installed the vogtland springs on my 2008 cayman s. rides same as stock imo. yes it was half the price but i think it was worth it. i haven't had any problems or installation issues. vogtland makes the OEM parts for all European cars in Europe. you can call them and talk to them. nothing wrong with h&r or eibach or bilstein but i would recommend these.
Not true, Bilstein makes the Porsche PASM struts not vogtland.

Hi,
Bilstein makes the OEM Porsche suspension, but I´m talking about a complete set made by Vogtland that comes with springs and dampers, all compatible with PASM system. I heard that the Vogtland suspension kits are indeed manufactured by 2 different brands: Vogtland (springs) and KW (dampers) but I´m not 100% sure of this.
Who knows.... I think I´m going to order these in a month or so, will write a review
Damptronic should work better in the rain...

Not sure I understand what you mean... I have damptronic OEM and want to replace with an aftermarket damptronic alternative.
Anyway, I ordered this today, will be installing it in a couple of weeks!
So new suspension is coming in two weeks finally, can't wait to have it installed!
Clear your calendar. You'll be driving a lot!
Any updates on this? Looking to refurb my PASM suspension; could go with Bilstein but I can get Vogtland shocks and springs for about half the price of B8s.
The Vogtland are TUV approved in Europe, so they are at least as good as OEM, if not better
Good to know. Thanks so much, Brian!
