Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hey guys, I installed the IPD plenum in my CS and didn't like the fact that the TB was forcing the old AOS hose underneath it. I would like to reroute it. I need your help to figure what kind of hose can I use to do it. I sourced a PVC type of hose and installed it, but I discovered that it can only withstand 150 deg F. The flanges for the AOS system are 1-1/8. The hose has to be flexible and resistant to vacuum. Also, I need to be able to clamp it. If you have another solution, I'm willing to hear it. I think it's a design flaw by IPD to just tuck the old hose under the TB. Too much friction

POST 2Original post

Curious what you ended up doing? I want to get rid of that cheap plastic hose.

POST 3Original post

I ended up selling the kit. Didn't seem reliable to me on the long run. Glad I did it. Retune my car to 74mm TB and intake, but I already have an exhaust , headers , desnorkel. I didn't feel a difference in power.

POST 4Original post

Did you keep the same PVC hose or remove that too? What kind of hose was it? Or where could I get one

POST 5Original post

I bought the two hoses at Porsche and replace the old ones. I will hold the temps. As for the PVC hose, I think that the melting point is too low. 150F
