Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

Never saw a final post that it worked.

POST 1Original post

My homelink doesn't work (no lights turn on when you press the buttons). I have done some research and it seems as if a few cars have been delivered without having the homelink activated. Anyone know what module controls the homelink ? I have the durametric PRO and will just activate it if someone can point me to the control module that I need to code into. ________ Sick From Depakote

POST 3Original post

Good logical guess but wrong. The Home-link aka Garage Opener is actually controlled from the 'Vehicle Electrical System' control unit.

POST 4Original post

Thanks Nick, I really appreciate your help. I'm going to see if I can get the darn thing working Friday. ________ HornyAngel23

POST 5Original post

Bump on this thread, does the Durametric access to Vehicle Electrical System allow you to activate homelink ? Never saw a final post that it worked.
