Just picked up the '02 on Saturday and can't stop smiling. I got the C4 in 1991 and always loved it, but it's interesting how the car has evolved over the years. The '02 feels substantially enhanced and more refined. It's also interesting how the 996's look so much better in person than they do in pictures. Thanks to all of you for sharing your tips and info; it's been very helpful.

Congrats!! I recently test drove the 02 model and compared to my 99 its got a more raspier exhaust sound. I imagine its so becuase of the revamped exhaust and the larger engine. I still couldnt trade my car in for the new model though i wished they started with the 3.6 neway. take care. mike
